IRIS Open Banking × Odoo — PLANA Connect
PLANA Connect: IRIS × Odoo links your accounts at Bulgarian banks directly to Odoo through IRIS, a licensed open-banking (PSD2) platform. Bank transactions arrive automatically as statements in the right journals, and payment orders are initiated straight from Odoo. The service is fully managed by PLANA — you install nothing in your Odoo and maintain nothing yourself.
What does “managed service” mean?
We register your company with IRIS, configure the connection and the account mapping, monitor the synchronisation, and assist with consent renewals. Your part is only what the law requires: confirming account access in your own online banking. Nobody — neither PLANA nor IRIS — ever sees or stores your banking credentials.
What it does
- Bank transactions → Odoo statements. Movements on every connected account are fetched automatically several times a day and imported as bank statements into the matching Odoo journal — ready for reconciliation the way you already work.
- Outgoing payments from Odoo. You create a payment order in Odoo; it is submitted to the bank through IRIS, and you approve it via your bank’s secure channel. No re-typing in online banking.
- Account ↔ journal mapping. Every bank account (IBAN) is linked to a specific Odoo journal. We manage the mapping — you tell us what goes where.
- Monitoring and support. We watch the connection, notify you before a consent expires, and help with any questions.
How the connection happens — step by step
The whole setup takes 1–2 business days; your active involvement is about 10 minutes.

Consent renewals
PSD2 access consents are time-limited (typically up to 180 days, varying by bank). We track the deadlines and send you a renewal link in time — the same ~2 minutes in your online banking.

Frequently asked questions
Which banks are supported? The Bulgarian banks available on the IRIS platform — in practice all major banks in the country. If yours is missing, ask us — the list keeps growing.
Is it secure? Yes. Access follows the PSD2 open-banking standard: you confirm it yourself, in your own online banking, with strong authentication. Credentials are never shared with anyone. IRIS is a licensed payment services provider; PLANA is not a payment services provider and works with IRIS as a technology partner.
Does anything need to be installed or configured in our Odoo? No. The service is fully hosted and managed by PLANA. It works with any Odoo version.
Are transactions booked automatically? Transactions arrive as bank statements in the right journal. Reconciliation against invoices and payments stays in your Odoo — using the rules and models you already have.
What if we switch banks or add an account? Just tell us — we add the new account to the mapping (within the included limit) and send you a consent link for the new bank.
