PLANA Field Service — User guide
PLANA Field Service turns Odoo into a complete field-service platform: take a service request, dispatch and route it, let the technician do the job on a phone, capture the customer's signature, generate and e-mail the handover protocol, invoice the work, and run preventive-maintenance contracts — all natively in Odoo.
Part of PLANA Business Cloud
PLANA Field Service is an add-on layer on top of PLANA Business Cloud. It builds on the community Field Service modules and adds the routing engine, the dispatch board, the phone-first technician experience, sign-off & protocol, van stock and the Bulgarian invoicing flow. New to the product? Start with the feature overview.
This guide is organised by role — Operator → Dispatcher → Technician → Manager — then by feature and configuration.

The service order workflow
Every job is a service order that moves through a fixed set of stages:
New → Assigned → Scheduled → En Route → In Progress → Awaiting Signature → Completed (or Cancelled).
The stage is shown as a status bar at the top of every order, and the dispatch board colours each job by its stage.
