1. The general interface

Odoo 16 keeps the same overall structure (top menu bar, apps, lists and forms), but the interface has been refreshed:

• Cleaner, lighter design. New typography, more white space and a flatter, more modern look. Buttons, menus and form fields are easier to read.
• Faster and smoother. Screens open and switch more quickly, especially large lists and the accounting dashboard.
• Clearer "unsaved changes". When you edit a record, Odoo 16 shows more clearly that you have changes that are not yet saved. You confirm with the Save icon or drop them with Discard before leaving the screen — this helps prevent accidentally losing or half-saving an entry.
• Same navigation habits. The apps menu, breadcrumbs, filters and Group By all work as before, so you do not need to relearn how to move around.

Same workflow, nicer and faster surface. No retraining needed for everyday navigation.
