PLANA Business Cloud is offered in three editions. They differ in the set of apps that are installed, the level of infrastructure isolation, and the support response time.

When to pick which

Starter is the right starting point for a company doing standard buy / sell / stock operations on a single set of books. It includes everything needed to issue invoices, manage suppliers, run an inventory and keep the accounting compliant with Bulgarian regulations. You can add specific integrations later without changing editions.

Pro adds project tracking, HR, and the subscription-billing engine that companies need to invoice recurring services. It is also the point at which your data lives in a dedicated namespace — operations on one tenant cannot affect another.

Enterprise is for companies whose ERP is mission-critical and who need isolation guarantees that go beyond the namespace level. You get a dedicated Kubernetes node, custom domain support, the full reporting suite (MIS Builder, OCA account_reports), and direct phone support.

Changing edition

Edition is a property of your subscription. To change edition, talk to your PLANA account manager — they will:

  1. Run a check that all modules currently in use are available on the target edition (the Pro and Enterprise editions are supersets of Starter, so upgrades are non-destructive).
  2. Schedule an off-peak switch — typically Saturday night.
  3. The technical operation itself is a single subscription change applied by our infrastructure layer; your data is not moved.

A downgrade is more involved because it may require disabling apps in use. We always perform a dry run on a staging copy of your database first.

What is not included

PLANA Business Cloud is built on Odoo Community plus the OCA module set. Features that are exclusive to Odoo Enterprise are not included on any edition of PLANA Business Cloud — for example, Odoo's native Marketing Automation, Field Service, Quality, PLM, Document Management as shipped by Odoo Enterprise, and the proprietary studio. Where the Bulgarian community provides an OCA equivalent, we ship that instead.
