Alerts summary
Status

The Alerts summary is a small panel on the Dashboard showing the current count and recent samples of open alerts. It is the entry point into the full Alerts view.

└─────────────────────────────────────────────────┘The header counts:
- Critical — needs immediate action
- Warning — needs attention this week
- Info — informational; usually no action needed
Reading the list
Each row shows:
| Element | Detail |
|---|---|
| Severity dot | Red / yellow / blue |
| Headline | Short description of what fired |
| Time | How long ago the alert fired |
| Owner (if assigned) | Avatar of the responsible person |
Click any row to open the full alert detail in the Alerts view.
Refresh
The summary refreshes every 60 seconds via SSE. New alerts appear without a page reload; resolved alerts disappear.
What's NOT here
- Resolved or snoozed alerts (they leave the open count)
- Historical alert trend (see the Alerts view for that)
- Per-owner breakdown (also in the Alerts view)
The summary is intentionally compact. The full view is for detail; the summary is for "do I need to dig in?".
When the panel is empty
If there are zero open alerts, the panel shows:
🎉 No open alerts. Have a good morning!Don't take this as license to skip the morning check-in — alerts only fire on the metrics you've configured, and not every issue produces an alert.
