First login
This is the first time you sign in to PLANA Business Cloud. Five minutes, and you're working.
Step 1 — Open your workspace URL
PLANA Business Cloud lives at:
https://<your-company>.planapulse.appFor example, if your company is "Acme", the URL is https://acme.planapulse.app. Your invitation email contains the exact URL.
If you also have access to BOS (the AI-first interface), that lives at https://my.planapulse.ai/<your-company>. PLANA Business Cloud and BOS are two sides of the same product — BOS is for chat and dashboards, PLANA Business Cloud is for the actual records.
Step 2 — Sign in with PLANA SSO
You see a login page. Click Sign in with PLANA.
You are redirected to PLANA's identity provider at auth.planapulse.com. Enter your email and the temporary password from your invitation. On first sign-in, you'll be asked to:
- Set a new password
- Enrol in two-factor authentication (TOTP) — scan a QR code with an authenticator app
- Save your recovery codes somewhere safe
After that, every future login takes one email + password + 6-digit TOTP code.
Step 3 — The main menu
After signing in, you land on a screen with an apps menu in the top left. Click it to see all the apps installed for your edition:
- Contacts — customers, vendors, leads
- Accounting — invoices, payments, books
- Sales — quotations and orders
- Purchase — vendor purchase orders
- Inventory — stock, transfers, warehouses
- CRM — leads and pipeline
- Project — projects and tasks (Pro and Enterprise tier)
- Employees / HR — people management (Pro and Enterprise tier)
- Settings — system configuration
Click any app to enter it. Each app has its own left-hand menu of records, reports, and configuration screens.
Step 4 — A quick tour of an app
Take Accounting for the tour. Click Accounting in the apps menu.
| Region | What it does |
|---|---|
| Top bar | Breadcrumb (where you are), search, action menu |
| Left menu | Categories within Accounting (Customers, Vendors, Banks, Reports) |
| Main area | The list / kanban / form of the current view |
| Right panel | Filters, group-by, favorites (collapse with the X) |
The same layout repeats in every app. Once you've learned it once, you can navigate every app.
Step 5 — Try a search
In any list view (e.g. Customers), type into the search bar at the top. Three things happen:
- Live filter — the list shows only matching records
- Search by field — drop-down lets you specify "name contains X", "email is Y", etc.
- Filters and groupings — pre-defined filters appear in the right panel for common patterns ("invoices overdue", "customers from Sofia")
Try searching for an existing customer if your tenant has data, or just play with an empty search to see the interface.
Step 6 — Open a record
Click a customer in the list. You see the form view:
| Region | What's there |
|---|---|
| Header | Status (active, archived) + action buttons |
| Top section | Key fields (name, address, contact info) |
| Tabs below | Detail sections (Sales history, Internal notes, Accounting setup) |
| Right panel | Chatter — communication log + activities to do |
PLANA Business Cloud's UI is forms-and-lists through and through. Every record (customer, invoice, product, sale order) lives on its own form with chat-style notes on the right and action buttons at the top.
Step 7 — The chatter
The right-hand chatter on every record shows:
- Internal notes — visible only to your team
- Outgoing messages — emails sent to the customer / vendor
- Log notes — system events (record created, invoice posted)
- Activities — tasks scheduled for someone in the team
Click Send message to email the customer; click Log note to add an internal comment; click Schedule activity to assign a task with a due date.
The chatter is where institutional memory lives. Use it.
